Theme: Educating the Educators

Aims and Objectives of the Session: The session will aim to expolre the professional drivers that inform the academic project management curriculum. These drivers include ISO project management developments, refresh of the APM Body of Knowledge (version 6), review of the National Occupational Standards (NOS) and broader emerging research trends.
The objectives are to provide a forum forto engage with the latest developments in project management and to consider its potential to programmes and modules.
By the end of the session, participants will have gained a better understanding of and developed some ideas for:
- how developments in project management could influence course design
- realising such developments through discussion.
- identifying an action plan for future work
