Workshop 6

This workshop is still in development and is subject to change

Theme: Learning Spaces: Building Bridges and Breaking Barriers
Date 3rd March 2010, 10.00am – 4.30pm

Venue: Westminster University, London

To register for this event please contact BMAF

Aims and Objectives of the Session:

The session will develop from Denise's presentation at Workshop 5 and aim to explore the issues and opportunities provided by the physical space provided for learning and teaching. The workshop will investigate issues about how physical spaces can support learning as well as providing an appropriate venue for teaching. The objectives are to understand the impact that different spaces for learning and teaching can have on project management education and to establish how good practice can be shared. By the end of the session participants will have gained a better understanding of and developed some ideas for enhancing project management learning and teaching through:

  • identifying types of learning spaces;
  • sharing good practice with regard to the use of learning spaces; and
  • deciding how you can better use available learning spaces.

There will be a questionnaire about your use of learning spaces for you to complete prior to the workshop.  The questionnaire is available here.
